Many common things may cause poor indoor air quality in your Mobile residence.
This includes:
- Compounds in [carpet, furniture and drapes that give off fumes
- Cleaning products
- Paint
- Personal care products
- Air fresheners and candles
Though they are usually more efficient, newer homes don’t have fresh air the way older residences do. Secure weather stripping and storm doors keep indoor air in and exterior air out. This offers more energy savings, but the limited exchange of outdoor and indoor air can trigger particles increasing indoors.
In these circumstances, a whole-house ventilation system is advised. Ventilation systems replace contaminated interior air for fresher exterior air without compromising energy savings.
